DESCRIPTION
On this tour, Living in nature as an Inuit, you’ll experience and learn about the North Greenlandic (Inuk) incredible lifestyle, where their main (and pretty much only) life source is nature. So, if you want to learn how they fish and hunt in the wild, then this tour is perfect for you.

ITINERARY
DAY 1
Welcome to Uummannaq
You’ll arrive to Uummannaq in the late afternoon and dine together with the local hunters. Then, we’ll shortly brief you about the plans for the following days.
DAY 2
The start of your fisher/hunter journey
After breakfast, we’ll take a dog sled trip to the winter hut to drop the equipment. Then, we’ll take another dog sled trip to drop the long line for fishing Halibut.
DAY 3
Fishermen life
We’ll start the day with a fun dog sled trip to check our fishing line and pick up our catches! After this, we’ll visit the Ikerasak settlement, share amazing stories and have dinner with the locals.
DAY 4
Hunting & Dog Sledding
On this day we’ll take a dog sled trip to the gletcher fiord system to hunt seals and maybe even find snowshoe hares, polar foxes or grouses. Then, we’ll go to our winter hut and sleep in Uummannatsiaq.
MEETING POINT
PRACTICAL INFORMATION
During the winter we recommend to dress in layers with clothing suitable for temperatures down to -25°C.
