DESCRIPTION

Would you like to spend some relaxing time surrounded by nature and beautiful landscapes?

Stay in one of our cozy sled huts located 460 km North of the Polar Circle and experience a little piece of Greenland in Siku Lodge.

You will decide if you want to get there speeding across the terrain in a snowmobile or, like the locals, on a dog sled! Along the way you will enjoy amazing landscapes surrounded by snow-covered mountains while breathing the purest air.

When you get to Siku Lodge, you can go for a small hike to the fishing point, experience ice fishing in Greenland and learn from the locals. Later that night you will enjoy a fresh local dinner made from your catch!

After dinner you will get to treat yourself in the outdoor spa, admiring the northern lights while enjoying a good drink!

To finish the tour, back in Uummannaq you will experience a famous Greenlandic Kaffeemik, a social gathering where you can eat, drink, and enjoy each other’s company.

DAY 2
The start of your comfortable adventure in Greenland

After breakfast, we’ll take a dog sled or a snowmobile trip (whatever you choose) to Siku Lodge. We will enjoy lunch there and after this, we’ll go for a small hike, drop the long line for fishing Halibut and learn ice fishing with the locals! Later that night you’ll enjoy a local fresh dinner made with the afternoon catch.

To finish the day, you’ll be able to relax in the spa with a good drink and company. If you are lucky, you could also admire the northern lights while in the hot tub or sauna!

DAY 3
Settlement exploration

We’ll start the day taking a snowmobile or a dog sled trip to visit the Ikerasak settlement, explore and share amazing stories while enjoying a Kaffemik with the locals. We will take the snowmobile to the big glacier and see the huge icebergs up close.

DAY 4
last day in Uummannaq

On your last day you’ll have some time to enjoy the town before you leave. The tour will end after an enjoyable breakfast.
